Here’s something I’ve been working on since this morning, I finished it just now! 

Wow, you guys have been so amazing to me, and I have been really appreciating all the support for both my original music and remixes. <3 Thank you so much, and it means so much to have my music appreciated. c’: 

This song is something I’m real’ proud of, glad with how it came out :D 

…as most of you know, I’m attending Cornish College of the Arts next fall. And uh…the tuition…is…a…bit….crazy. Even with all of the scholarships, money saved up from work, and financial aid I’m getting, it’s gonna be a bit tough to pull out the money with a family that makes less than 15,000 a year. ._____. I know I did this last year for application fee costs, but that was just a small bump to what I’m facing now. The song, and along with many of my original compositions that I have been asked to make available for download, is now available for download on my Bandcamp. You can also set your price. :D

No, you don’t need to pay! I’m perfectly cool with ya’ll downloading my stuff, I feel all giddy just thinking that someone would want to download my original work. I’m just asking for a little help in exchange for something I made and poured my heart and soul into. c:

Aghhhhh, seriously though, I got an idea for this type of song this morning, and constantly struggled throughout the day to make it work. I originally wanted it to be part of my submission for Berklee, but I’d rather submit a piece that I am more comfortable with and one that didn’t cause me to take a 3 hour failure nap. 

But, it’s up to you guys. xD

The song’s called “Final Round”.

I wanted to go back to my usual simplistic flair, and I added in some familiar melodies that I tend to play around with in my music. Hope you guys like it. <3

Hi guys! This right hur’ is a new track I made, Dawn. 

It’s dedicated to my closest friend. I feel as if without her, I would’ve never got fully back on track with my music. She inspires me to keep going. And sometimes I wanna grab her by the shoulders and scream “…I THINK YOU ARE AN AMAZING PERSON AND I WISH YOU CAN BELIEVE THAT YOURSELF OK AND I LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND YOU MAKE ME WANT TO BE SOMEONE SOMEDAY TO MAKE YOU PROUD AND STUFF.”

So yeah. :D Love you, darling. 

Anyways, I feel kinda iffy on this track, and I need some of your honest opinions here, guys. I honestly don’t know if I wanna submit this to Berklee or not, but we’ll see. :]

HELP CHONG GO TO COLLEGE! :D

Hi guys, so as you know, I am applying for my dream college, Berklee College of Music. It has been my all-time goal to go to this school since freshman year, and I have had my heart set on it. I am also applying for their Writing and Composition Scholarship.

I have filled out the application, and as it turns out, there is a $150 non-refundable application fee. 

I have known this for a while, but, unfortunately, I’m running quite low on funds, and I wanna get a load off my parents, who have been workin’ hard for me since I was in diapers.

Now then, here’s a song that I poured my heart and soul into, and really, this is something I’m actually proud of. Really, really, reallyyyy proud of. AND THAT’S SAYING SOMETHING. I like to call it ‘Awakening’. 

I have around 8,550 followers. IF EACH ONE OF YOU GUYS PAYS AT LEAST TWO CENTS FOR DIS SONG RIGHT HURR, I CAN GET MORE THAN WHAT I NEED. HEY YOU CAN STILL GET THE SONG FOR FREE THOUGH, IT’S ALL GOOD. BUT YOU KNOW IT CAN REALLY HELP OUT MY FUTURE. <3

Anyways, yeah, this song is real’ special to me. Worked pretty hard on it, spent a couple hours yesterday to download the VST containing the pretty nice orchestral sounds. In my honest opinion, this song shadows the one I shared about a week ago. I’m thinking about using this as my first piece to send to Berklee instead, it’s just that the music is going to take forever to notate and I know it’s gonna kill me. xD OH WELL IT SHOULD BE WORTH IT RIGHT. I took a more exciting approach to my love for film scores, and because of the VST I downloaded, so much more opportunities were open to me, much more than before.
