“So…where are we going again?” Korra asked, jogging to keep pace with Mako and Bolin, who were weaving their way through the suddenly-crowded streets. Republic City couldn’t be called quiet on the best of days, but this was a little ridiculous.

“To see the fireworks!” Bolin said excitedly, bowing and apologizing quickly to a woman when he stepped on her toes in his haste. The earthbender elbowed his way through the crowd of people, making a path for Mako and Korra to follow.

“Ri-ight,” Korra said doubtfully. “And what are fireworks again?”
