EVEN IF YOU DON’T SHIP MAKORRA AT ALL AND HATE IT WITH A BURNING PASSION, I’M FINE WITH THAT.

But, ack, c’mon. Let’s reflect on what Korra has been through. Tenzin’s gone. Lin’s gone. And she’s been through so much over just a few months.

SURE they could have carried out the scene in a less…romantic way, but Mako was there for her. EVEN IF IT WAS HALF-THE-FANDOM-HATES-HIM-MAKO, Korra still got comfort in a time she really needed it.
